In a world with over a billion sensors, how might we personify the abundance of data they collect? How might we visualize it in a more organic way?

This one-day project reflects the price fluctuation of the Bitcoin crypto–currency by integrating it in a fish tank. The water level depends on the current average Bitcoin price in US Dollars, while the angle at which the fish is moving depends on the current change in Bitcoin/USD price.

It is programmed in JavaScript and is built on top of the Paper.js and Timeline.js animation libraries. Email me if you want a copy of the code.
